MEDAL APPEARANCE/CONDITION:
Aluminum Variety - Brilliant Gem+
Pedigree: #4048 (Although only the silver proof was officially pedigreed on the label by NGC, all four varieties are from the 4,048th set minted; noted on original display case and edge of silver medal).
*An absolutely stunning, radiant example that is truly pleasing to look at. Near mirrored fields boast brilliant, untoned fields. In contrast, the devices and lettering stand-out as a highlight in their beautiful and strong detail. — The Colorado state seal on the reverse is fitting for this type of issue, and a personal favorite of mine. There is just something about it that’s alluring.*
