Owner Comments:

In 2019, the planchet type for the 100 forint bi-metallic circulating type was changed from plated steel (magnetic) to CuNiZn (non-magnetic). As with the planchet trials of the 200 forint prior to its release in 2009, this change also necessitated vending machine trials, resulting in the production of this specimen type (identifiable by "MINTA" on the reverse.

The non-magnetic 100 forint type was not produced until 2019, however, this specimen is dated 2018 on what was at the time an experimental non-magnetic planchet.
