Owner Comments:

This medal was issued by the city of Easton, Pennsylvania to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first meeting of their Burgesses (elected or unelected officials). It is made of white metal and is holed as made. Its eye appeal is far nicer in hand than it appears in my photos. Although its overall rarity is listed as R6 (21-75 known), only two examples of this medal have been graded by NGC so it may actually be rarer than that. Regardless of what its true overall rarity may be, problem free examples that will grade are obviously very rare. At MS-62, this piece is the finest known example.
