This and Superboy 26 came out the same month. The Superboy 26 is one of the hardest early Superboy's to find above a good, and scarce in any grade. This Adventure seems to be no easier. It can probably be said that there are issues before and after it that are equally difficult.
This beautiful white pager and the Superboy 26 were purchased together from a CGC board member. I love the colors and the cool cover scene. What do you bet that's Lana on the cover?

Another book from a really tough era. While in the same technical grade as the 189, this book lacks the freshness of the WHITE paged 189. The cover colrs are a unique belend and I have always like any medieval setting.

The third, and to my knowledge, last appearance of Mars Boy. The previous two being Superboy 14 (cover story) and Superboy 16.
Got this nice copy from Steve Ritter, it is the Toronto copy.

Early Krypto appearance (3rd). Still has the "fleshy muzzle" look that would eventually turn into a smooth white snout appearance later on, So what the heck kind of dog was he? Snoopy was an all white beagle (albino Beagle?) oh wait...Krypto is a Kryptonian Beagle...that's it.
Speaking of which....if a Earth boy went to another planet and brought his dog there...would he call it Eartho? Hmmm...

Another eBay snag. Nice clean copy. This was a great era for these books with some real fun stories.
Now, bubble covers. DC had a thing for covers with bubble on them. I mean we already suspend our disbelief about a biy from Krypton, so it shouldn't be any problem to accept that a cear glass bubble can fly around with no apprant propulsion system, right?

Someday the Oregon collection will be fabled and revred among Superman family collectors...wait, it already is!
A sharp copy of a book I myself don't see to often. Nice bright black cover and just a great looking book overall.
Won in the battle of Oregon, Comicconnect 2011!

Awesome cool dark blue cover and added bonus of a Green Arrow origin. A "mini" key of sorts.

I am not sure that a comic with a blinded boy and his dog would be seen as good taste today. Funny thing is, this isn't the last Superboy is blind cover (I will let you find the second cover on your own in the Superboy series).
DC didn't mind poor taste though, just about every super-hero had a "fat" cover too.
