Set Description:

Batman was created in 1939 by Bob Kane but it can be argued that Neal Adams was the one who brought the Dark Knight to life. Most likely the #1 if not #2 most popular Superhero ever created, See the beginnings of the Dark Knight and the progression of Neal Adams artwork from issue #370 on.

Issue #395 is my favorite Batman story ever created, and coincidentally is the first Denny O'Neil/Neal Adams team up. It also features the movement towards the Darker Batman which we all know and love today.

This set features examples from the Massachusetts, Pacific Coast and Rocky Mountain Pedigrees.

This book features the 1st collaboration of Denny O'Neil and Neal Adams. It is also the culmination of the movement from the campy Adam West Batman in the 1960s which made Batman somewhat of a joke to the transformation towards the Dark Knight which was immortalized by Frank Miller and masterfully portrayed by Christian Bale in the recent Dark Knight Movie. This book features my favorite storyline of all the Adams Batman issues, Secret of the Waiting Graves, which introduces the Horror element into Batman and as a single issue storyline is unmatched.

One of the classic issues in the run and one of the most popular, this book features the 1st appearance of Man-Bat. Not the biggest fan to be honest of him but the book has one of the best covers of the entire run.
