One day I went in to Comics & Comix,
in Berkeley, Ca..
Peter Grubbs was working upstairs,
and told me he had a 1st Printing,
Plymell edition, of Zap #1.
So, I followed him upstairs to see
a box of comix, with some very juicy
bits.
Peter [G.] made me a deal on the whole
box, and told me Dave Sheridan's wife
came in to C & C, and sold them the
box that day.
So, for 60 bucks for the Zap #1,
first edition, and 60 bucks for
the remainder, I got the box...!
(...including a yummy Corben-covered
Slow Death Anthology, among others....)
So, the Zap #1 has my intials, and Dave's,
(KS/DS), on the ibc in ink, but that's gone,
SOLD, and this is the first of the others.
I'll get ''em going, Inshallah.

Fantagor #2, but it IS .. the first 9.8! I
can't remember if the the 9.4, and the
9.2 came after this one, or they were
there already. My memory says this was
the FIRST OVERALL ... CGC'd Fantagor
#2, Rip Off Press, AND the FIRST, ..

and Founder Don Donahue. - Requiescat in Pace Don
Donahue - This was [/represents] one of my last contacts
with Don Donahue.... It was second week of 10th month,
in 0-0-7.

I was really lucky to get this book, and have it, somehow,
survive alongside me, and now, it is all the work I can do
to have this, AND THE OTHERS THROUGHOUT) registered,
and.. corner-stoned into these VERY LARGE BACCARATS,
like.. glass coffins to crack open in case of emergency.
